MaiyaShree is proposed as a flagship Citizen Assistance Program (CAP) modeled on the broader SubhadraShree concept, but with assistance delivered through a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) framework. Its objective is to provide predictable annual financial assistance to eligible citizens specially empower Female and Youth, while creating a transparent, scalable citizen-support infrastructure.
For a political organisation, the legitimate value of MaiyaShree would be policy credibility and citizen outreach, rather than treating benefits as an exchange for votes. A well-designed program can demonstrate a party's proposed approach to income support, digital delivery, women's economic participation and social protection.
